In the springtime old oarsmen turn their thoughts toward racing. The greatest race of all is the Henley Royal Regatta. This .race has been conducted every year since 1839 on the Thames River in England by the Stewards of the Henley Royal Regatta. Pep Perry has the signal honor of being the first non-Briton ever to be named for service in that group. Pep has been actively involved in rowing since his schoolboy days. His Kent School crews have raced at Henley five times and won the Princess Elizabeth Cup in 1972.
