Our fearless leader Herb Swarzman finally wised up and moved to Florida and is living in Tampa. Herb married the former Joyce Burick in February. He is in business in the Florida west coast area and is president of Suncoast Consultants and Investors, Inc., which manages, consults, and invests in emerging Florida companies. Herb sees a lot of FredPitzner who is Senior Vice President of Exchange Banks. Herb hopes to have future executive committe meetings in sunny Florida, and I am sure all of us wish Herb the best on his new marriage, new business, and new home.
At the other end of the country, Dale Sarles writes from Juneau, Alaska, that he expects to be chaplain in the Alaska State Legislature and was elected dean of the S. E. Deanery of the Episcopal Church in Alaska. Dale, his wife Joyce, and two girls are enjoying the frontier spirit of Alaska, and Dale reports that Alaska has changed a great deal in recent years as a result of the pipeline project and other natural resource developments. He extends an open invite to any Dartmouth folk and particularly '58s who find their way in that locale.
