Dr. James C. Parkes II, in addition to his regular practice at the Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, has completed his third year as team physician for the New York Mets. Jim is an orthopedic surgeon who was recently a featured speaker at a symposium whose subject was the diagnosis and prevention of sports injuries.
At a recent class officers' meeting, methods of increasing the effectiveness of this column, especially its geographical coverage, were discussed. The resultant decision was to implement the development of a correspondents' organization. A number of classmates from the Far East to Europe and across the U.S. will be asked to participate to the extent of providing the information concerning classmates in their area for inclusion in a future issue. Should any of you desire to participate as a correspondent, please advise your class secretary.
