Hello, again. Sorry about last month but no letters - no column, especially when we're too busy to make up news. Lately, however, the mailman has been kind...

Pete Ruegger reports that, as of mid-January, over 100 '7ls had indicated that they will attend our 50th Reunion in June. The dates are June 1820 if you haven't mailed your reply card yet,

Pete hasn't said anything about babysitting services at the reunion, but more and more 71s will need them. Newsletter co-editor Jim Bays and wife Martha are among the recently blessed with the arrival of son Carter Loard last August. Vince and Rita Orchard should have presented son Simon with a brother or sister by the time you read this. The Orchards have moved to Vancouver after Vince finished his year with the Supreme Court of Canada in Ottawa.

More: Isaac Addison Heard arrived in October, courtesy of Patricia and Ike Heard. Lela and Barry Brink are the proud parents of daughter Malia Nicol. While not busy with Malia, Lela attends New Jersey College of Medicine, in Newark, and Barry works on a teacher certification program at Montclair State.

Last but not least, Mike and Betty Jo Hannigan were twice blessed last June when twin girls, Elizabeth Ann and Kelly Ann, arrived to keep son Mike company.

On a somewhat different note, the following represents the entire and unexpurgated text of a letter from John Eaton: "Have moved to Houston. Gonna be a rodeo star. Anyone know where the low life drinking establishments are. Don't send your replies to us.

Dave Felt, now a captain at Fort Benning, is working on an M.Ed, in counseling and psychological services at Georgia State and is considering business school when he gets out next August. Dick Wenzel is in his second year with a combat engineer battalion at Fort Ord; he and wife Ruth have on occasion shared a beer or three with John Keller and Mark Totman, both at Stanford.

Dave Aylward and wife Cary are planning to stay in Washington, D.C., after he graduates from law school in May. Dave will become associated with Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue's Washington office. Cary, after engineering John Durkin's get-out-the-vote drive in the New Hampshire special Senate election, is now a legislative assistant in his office.

If New York goes broke it won't be Craig Robelen's fault. He is now with Chemical Realty Corporation, an affiliate of Chemical Bank, putting together multimillion dollar real estate development and construction deals. Craig reports running into, among others, Scott Rosenblum, Pete Wheelock, and Bruce Langenkamp, the latter busy working for Morgan Guaranty.

That's it. Since most of this has come courtesy of Bob Schnabel, we'll remind you once again to send in your class dues ... after all, they pay for your subscription to this Magazine. Blessings.
