Only two months 'till Reunion (give or take) so get those reservations for June 18-20 to Pete Webster now!
It has been revealed that Cambridge, and Harvard Business School in particular, is harboring a number of'71s. Among them are Matt Carroll, Allen Jackson, and Bill Holm. The latter two traded in military life (the Army) for their present situations.
Also trading the military - the Navy - for civilian life was Art Streeter, now at Duke studying for his Masters in Health Administration.
One last military note, about Jim Wallace, who is still in the Navy - in Hawaii, which isn't a bad way to go. When Jim gets out in June he and wife Debbi plan to drive across the country with daughter Jennifer. First stop on the trip is in Southern California to see Doug Jones; later they'll visit Ed Freeman in Denver.
John Shapleigh is in his third year at Washington University Law School in St. Louis. John reports that he is a part-time legal assistant to Governor Bond of Missouri and will assume full-time duties at that position after graduating in May. On other legal fronts, Russ Deyo, having graduated from Georgetown Law last June, is clerking for a federal judge in Philadelphia. Wife Steffi is expecting - both a child in August and an MBA from Wharton in June.
Last but not least is the wedding of the month. Bill Saumsiegle married Nancy Stokes way back last August in Sandy Hook, Conn. Virtually every recent graduate of Dartmouth attended and the ushers included George Rountree, Bob Osborne, Bruce Frankel, and MikeMathias. As for the groom, Bill is finishing up his Masters' thesis in geological oceanography at Old Dominion.
Don't forget Reunion and if you haven't already done so contact Pete Webster at 175 Springbrook Road, Old Saybrook, Conn. 06745. Tel. 203-388-2662.
That's it. . . send letter, fast, or you'll have to wait until next fall. Blessings.
