I had a long letter from Dave Hedges in which he enclosed a letter he had written to Tom Cass on the occasion of Tom's retirement (see my February column). Dave says he's going to stay at the bank for another year and a half since he and Ethelyn haven't any particular plans after retiring. They had spent three weeks last June in London and had occasion to eat at the famous Walton's Restaruant which was bombed by the IRA in December. Glad you both were out of there by then. Thanks, Dave, for your compliments on the column. I appreciated them very much.

Johnny Bathrick enclosed a letter he had received from one Henry Increase Stimson who was a neighbor of Johnny's. Henry has two great things going for him - he went to Northwestern University, my wife's Alma Mater, and he adopted Dartmouth '34 as his own, because he liked it and had gotten to know John. Welcome to the Class, Henry. The letter had come as a result of my column telling of John's move and now I'm embarrassed because Johnny says he has lived at 258 Hollow Tree Ridge Road, Darien, for 15 years. I know I had a change, John, but anyway, I indirectly got to know Henry. Thanks for the letter.

A reprint from the Sun Valley News, shows that Harry Gilmore was among seven alumni who appeared for the 11th Annual Sun Valley Ski Club Reunion.

Jack Cavanaugh sent Ed Brown his check and said he has been in Florida since December 3, recuperating from open heart surgery at Mass. General Hospital in Boston. He feels that he has been with or at doctors since May and that he hopes things are 'turned.' We do too, Jack!

Mac Collins is still with the railroad for a while longer and then he and Mary want to find a place to retire to the south or west of snow country. Mac sees the New York bunch at the monthly Dartmouth Club lunch, but sends his greetings to all of us outside of the New York area. Thanks, Mac.

Bob Lindstedt has recently formed his own agency specializing in theatre advertising. Says there is hardly enough time in the day. He and Nancy are both healthy, which is the main thing. Good luck on the Agency, Bob.

Stew Anderson retired in February, 1975 from the New York Governor's Office in New York City and loves retirement. He and Marguerite live on the water in Riverside, Corin., and have taken several trips, including Mexico, California, Bermuda, Spain (twice), and France. They plan to go to Snow Mass, Colo., for skiing in March.

Bernie Cushman said he and Dorothy spent October in Greece (their second trip there) and enjoyed it immensely. He says all of his children are married and they have three grandchildren and are "hoping for more." Bernie is still a busy labor attorney and arbitrator.

June and I had lunch in Stuart, Fla., with Jean and Tom Hicks who were visiting mutual friends. They both looked great.

Guess that does us up for another issue. Thanks, Ed, for your continued "goodies" on the dues bills and I could use a few letters from some of the rest of you.
