This month's grab bag of class notes brings news of some new additions. Word comes from Greg McClelland that Todd Colin McClelland was born on August 26. Geologist DuncanChrisholm and his wife Barbara report from Texas the birth of their son, Erin Brule, born in August of this year. Another pair of Texans, BillPollock and his wife Peggy, report the birth of their daughter, Margaret Elizabeth, who arrived last fall.

By way of catching up, Bob Jeffe was married to the former Barbara Rohn last November in New York. On hand at the wedding were RogYazgi and Bill Carney. Bob is an investment banker with Morgan Stanley and according to all reports, is enjoying his work. J. C. McKenzie is also an investment banker in New York, working for Goldman Sachs. J. C. has made numerous trips to the Windy City in the past year, and is slated for a winner-takes-all squash match with this writer on his next visit.

On the academic scene, Norman Holland will join the Modern Languages Department at the College of William and Mary this fall as instructor and director of the language laboratory. He is also a candidate for a doctoral degree from Johns Hopkins University.

From the entertainment field comes news that David-James Carroll has been knocking 'em dead with his roles in summer theater productions. David recently completed an engagement at the Falmouth Playhouse in Hatchville, Mass., where he starred as Curley in Oklahoma. He has also appeared on television in Ball Four and has played in several Broadway and off-Broadway roles.

Another '72 about to take the marital plunge is Steven Hill, who has become engaged to Christine Margaret Flug. Steve was graduated from the Southwestern Medical School of the University of Texas in Dallas, and served as an intern in general surgery at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He is currently a resident in neurological surgery at Ohio State University in Columbus.

A recent visitor to Chicago was Alaskan lawyer-sportscaster Norman Cohen, who reportedly is looking for warmer climates and a "blue chip" Connecticut law practice. Norman has remained mum, however, on his role in laying the Alaskan pipeline.

Other items: Jack Curley was recently admitted to the Massachusetts bar, and is practicing in Leominster. Brian Williams, another transplanted Chicagoan, is working in advertising with Leo Burnett, U.S.A.
