Jack Lewis married Jackie LArner on September 23 in Denver, with classmate BobFritz among those in attendance. Jack is a partner in the law firm of Ireland Stapleton & Pryor, and Jackie is a paralegal who is working on her doctorate in ancient history at the University of Colorado.
Rick and Kris MAcmillan had their first son, Clarke, a six 1b. 10 oz., 20-inch-long lad born on October 14. His Dad is an operations analyst and assistant to the group vice president at Aerojet General in Houston.
Caleb LOring is assistant vice president of the First National Bank of Boston, responsible for larger loans to, among others, the Massachusetts fishing industry. But he is more: treasurer of Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses, Inc., overseer of Boys Club of Boston, trustee of North Shore Community Arts Foundation, and an active worker for Congressional candidate Bill Bronson.
Navy Lieutenant Commander David Graves was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for outstanding performance while serving with the Bureau of Naval Personnel in Washington from May 1975 to March 1978. Dave, who joined the Navy in June 1966, is currently executive officer aboard the frigate USSVreeland, based in Mayport, Fla.
Got any old Lionel trains tucked away in the attic? Give Dr. Joel Meyers a call in Mercer Island, Wash. He's a collector. He's also assistant professor of medicine at Hutchinson Cancer Research Center at the University of Washington. Barbara Meyers owns a new art gallery near Seattle.
Bill Malcolm, executive vice president and general manager of Connval, a contractor and building supply company in Ely, Vt., has been in the Upper Valley for 14 of the last 16 years. Daughter Elissa's been there for two.
Paul and Carol Murphy, along with Thaddeus, nine, and Kevin, three, have moved to London, where Paul will "head up" GE's financial activities in Europe associated with GE's computer timesaving business. Dr. JamesByers, a member of the faculty of the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, conducted a workshop dealing with medical-legal aspects of therapeutic drug monitoring at the joint meeting of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the College of American Pathologists in mid-September in St. Louis.
Harry Lowd, our class president, is director of New London Hospital in New London, N.H. Andrew MacCormack is production manager at Overton Woodwork, a manufacturer of wood louver vents in Franklin, Ky. He and Louise are remodeling a 1920-vintage farmhouse.
Bruce McKissock specializes in aviation litigation, particularly the defense of claims arising out of airplane accidents, as a partner with the Philadelphia law firm of Duane, Morris & Heckscher. He's just been elected a member of the Alumni Council, he's active in the Citizens Crime Commission of Philadelphia and the United Way, and he's earned a private pilot license.
