Mrs. Leslie C. Olmstead, widow of Frank T.Olmstead, died September 18. 1977. She is survived by a daughter Ruth (Mrs. Richard A. Roundy Jr., 173 Brimbal Ave., Beverly, Mass. 07915) and a son Ronald Walker '32.

Mrs. Frances Flack Brown, widow of Odgen"Buster" Brown, died in the Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, D.C., on December 17, 1977, following a stroke. She was buried beside her husband in Arlington National Cemetery. Their son Lee Thurmond Brown lives at 12919 Point Pleasant Drive, Fairfax, Va. 22030.

Mona Eileen, Royal Abbott's daughter, spent a six-week vacation in England this past summer. When her home city of Asheville, N.C., was hit with a seven-inch downpour the first of November, she worked at disaster headquarters registering those needing assistance. Her mother spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her son Royal K. Jr. '37 and family in Connecticut.

Albert Wood Bates and Margaret Bates were married during the holiday season. Congratulations.

The College has announced two bequests from the widows of '09 classmates. $5,000 from Ann K. Oliphant, widow of George M.Oliphant, to be added to a previous endowment from her husband, and $1,000 from Mildred E. Dole in memory of her husband Charles E.Dole. During the years 18 bequests have been received from classmates or their families.
