We received a card via Treasurer Jed Isaacs informing us that Roger Young is now special agent in charge of the San Diego division of the F.B.I. Not more than two days later, while watching the evening news, we saw Roger being interviewed in connection with a multi-million dollar bank theft committed by computer.

Roger's office broke the case which involved the purchase of Russian diamonds in an attempt to launder the loot. In the face of international scrutiny, our classmate upheld the proper image.

John Mansfield has been promoted to the rank of captain by Trans-World Airlines. John began his flying career as a Navy pilot, serving in an anti-subma-rine squadron based at Quonset Point, R.I. Prior to his recent promotion, he served as first officer aboard a Boeing 707 based in Los Angeles. John and his wife and three daughters reside in Lancaster, Calif., and his daughters are very active in gymnastics.

Tony Kreulen sends word that he now resides in New Canaan, Conn. He has returned to the U.S. after 20 years overseas, and reports that "despite soaring prices, I still find life in America great. Leaf-peeping in Hanover was fantastic."

The last bit of news for this rather sparse column comes from Bob Leopold in Washington, D.C. He is stationed in the Pentagon working as a planner on the Navy staff. He has taken up serious running during lunch hour, "to help maintain my sanity," and entered the Washington Marathon in November. History doesn't relate where he finished, but let's hope he didn't get hurt.

That's it. We have no backlog of news, so please take pity on your columnist and write.
