Skitch Greeley passed away in October of last year after a long illness. In recent years he had made his home in Seminole, Fla. After World War I he did not return to college but went into business.

Kitty Larmon had all of her family with for Christmas. She relates that ice conditions on Balch Hill have made it necessary for her to walk home on several occasions. Florence Stecher is again taking an around-the-world cruise on the Rotterdam. This is the third or fourth year in succession she has done this. She will be accompanied by a granddaughter. Emily Gale spent New Year's at the Lake Placid Club with some of her family. She hopes to take a trip down the Mississippi in April.

The Marshfield newspaper ran a long article on Maurie Hall. It tells of Maurie's war record. Maurie never has received his discharge from the Navy. Further mention is made of his many activities in behalf of the American Legion and his long service in town affairs.

Chet DeMond was in the hospital for removal of, as he says, "a superfluous gall bladder." He is coming along fine. Helen and George Owen are fighting the snow in Friendship, Me., where they make their year-around home. Jim Davis reports that his golf game, while good, is not improving, even though he plays several times each week. He says he misses class reunions at Hanover, etc.

For publicity purposes the athletic department puts out a booklet telling of various Dartmouth records. The latest shows Chet Gale still holds the record for the most shutouts of any Dartmouth goalie - ten. I predict that that record will last a long time.

Fat Jackson has had a cataract operation and "Hon" broke her hip and was laid up for months. Bob Paisley is about the same. He appreciates hearing from classmates even though he cannot always reply.

Betty, Jack Clark's wife, died in November after a long illness. She and Jack had a long and happy married life. Jack plans to remain on the Cape.

Returns indicate there will be a good turnout for the 60th reunion in June. No one should miss it if it is at all possible to attend. If you have not already done so, send in your reservation now.
