That rumbling you hear from up North is coming from the ALUMNI MAGAZINE Office as that April 15 deadline has conflicted just a bit with the column deadline. Needless to say I'm late.

Everyone be sure to get those contributions in the mail so Bob Van Dam can relax while heading up the fund drive this year. Might be one way to put a halt to all of that mail this spring.

The young executive on the rise is TedMascott who has been affiliated with Sharp and Dohme, division of Merck and Co., since passing through Columbia Business School in 1966. Ted and wife, Betsy, are busy dressing up their Pennsylvania Colonial home in Ambler, Pa. Ted sends on word that Gary and Gunnel Clark were blessed with a young daughter, Lisa, last November.

Ted and Gary were ushers and assisted Rick Ellis down the aisle so he could say his I do to Millie Purnell. Rick is located in Hartford writing for Conn. General Life Insurance Co.

A spring addition is Nathaniel Hale welcomed by his proud parents Derwin andBobbie Brown on March 31. The Browns can be found celebrating at 696 Winston Ct., Ithaca, N. Y. Out in Chicago clever Don Samuelson and wife, Nancy have added to the family with the recent arrival of daughter Cinnamon.

Maybe Sam and Nancy have run into Al and Susan Feingold in the Windy City. Al is a resident fellow in anesthesiology at the University of Chicago hospitals. Nancy caught up with Al in June of '66 after graduating from the U. of Mich.

That Packer Backer, Tom Benton, completed his military duty last July and is busy pulling teeth in his dental practice in Appleton, Wis. On the circuit these past few years have been Al and Bev Bryant Al is associated with General Electric and finds himself moving from plant to plant in his training. Any chance you'll be sent up here Al?

If you want to find out what's going on in South East Asia just drop a line to BobBrodkey. Bob is employed by the Department of Defense and can be found in Thailand, no doubt looking for those F-111's. Just recently returned from Thailand is BillMacDonald. Bill is busy in the Pentagon trying to straighten out the labor problems of the Army. Mac spent 13 months in Thailand and returned to Washington with captain's rank.

Barry Alperin sends on word of a gathering of '62's at the wedding of Tom Green. Barry performed as an usher and Jim Hale and Phil Margolis watched the ceremony in Minneapolis. Tom writes that he and the bride, Ricki, are settled in Washington, D. C., where Tom operates as an assistant U.S. Attorney. Must be a nice change from those 13 months in Viet Nam.

Gordi Aydelott has put aside the Navy blues and the tennis racket and finds himself spending his hours at Villanova Law School which he says he finds enjoyable. Second daughter Amy joined the family on March 18, 1967.

One of those friendly faces on the other side of the desk at your local federal building belongs to Ron Rothman. Ron toils as an attorney for the Internal Revenue Service in the criminal enforcement department. When he's not checking your 1040's, Ron can be found at the New York University Graduate School of Law looking for his master's in tax law. Ron and Dianne received their first dependent as Jeffrey Andrew arrived last summer. Another law man is Dave Shannan who Assists George Stevens '31 as Dean of Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore. Dave and Bonnie are right in there for the family award with Lynne, Michael, and Jennifer.

Another who found his way back to New Hampshire is Dick Whitfield. Dick and the family wound up on West Wheelock Street in Hanover after arriving from Seattle, canoe and all. Dick is with Thermal Dynamics in Lebanon. Steve Weiner finished his tour of Hong Kong after three years of teaching English at the Chinese University. It was, according to Steve, quite an experience, and he managed to be around when the "cultural revolution" began. Steve, Susan and the children, David and Allison, are domiciled in Los Angeles while Steve hunts down his law degree at U.C.L.A.

Keep the letters coming. My special thanks to those of you who put notes on those cards you returned to John Schiftman, and to John for sending them on.
