Another successful fall party was held on the weekend of the Harvard game, with a group of over 20 people at Lake Morey Inn, enjoying the result of the game, but not the weather. A larger group assembled at the Hanover Inn for lunch preceding the game.

A meeting of the class executive committee was held on Saturday morning with 12 officers and members present, plus several other classmates and wives. Details have been covered in the "24-Hour Notice."

Beatie Adams has acquired a new honor in serving as the "grandmother of the bride" at a wedding in Pennsylvania. Beatie also plans to go to California for Thanksgiving with Jeanie, returning home by way of Florida, where she will visit Trippy. And a late report tells us that one of the highlights of the fall weekend party was Beatie's being taxied around Hanover in a police cruiser!

Doug Graham, who made two trips to Europe in the past year, and spent the month of February in Florida as well, was married in October, with honeymoon in Hawaii.

Shortly after traveling to Hanover from Florida in April to attend the dinner where the announcement of President Kemeny's retirement was made, the Buchanans suffered a fire that severely damaged their home in Menasha, Wise. As a result they spent the summer in Bill's mother's home, she having passed away about the same time at the age of 99. The Buchanans returned to Florida in November.

We extend sympathy to Win Nazro on the death of his wife in July. Win is now living at his son's home in Green Valley.

The Central New York chapter of the American Heart Association honored Mrs. Bernice Ludwig (Mrs. Dick Ludwig) at a dinner on "Bunnie Ludwig Night." More than 40 friends attended, and she was given a trophy on behalf of her work for the association.

The Brandts spent the summer on Long Island and have returned to Florida for the winter.

Mony Monahan, after a series of operations during the summer, hopes that they will be able to spend the winter months in Sarasota another addition to the '24 delegation in that area, which includes Ted Nilsen, Bob Hayes, Bob McCollum, and maybe more.

We have received word of the marriage of Bobbie Ahlquist in August to Frederick A. Currie. And similar news from Louise Watkins that she was married in August to Duane T. Malthop, and from Katherine Bates, who married Charles Leslie Pope, M.D., in June.

Jimmie Ried has recently been hospitalized for an operation.

Another member has been added to the great-grandfather group - this time MercBowers.

The Haskins have recently traveled to Glendale, Calif., to visit their daughter Ann and her husband.

It is that time of year again, so we close with best wishes for the Christmas season.
