Al Chidester has moved from the Boston office of Ropes and Gray. He's now associate aeneral counsel for Eastern Gas and Fuel in

Boston. Erik Joh practices law in Binghamton, N.Y., and in Florida. He notes that it's nice to be able to commute to Florida when things turn cold and nasty in Binghamton. Fred Weeman and Erik are neighbors. Fred and Alice are in Flmira where Freddy is a stockbroker.

While we're in upstate New York, I'll mention that Gary Atkins announced the birth of son Moshe Benjamin on November 20. The proud father performed the Brit Milah ceremony himself. And Steve Landa lives in Fayetteville, N.Y., where he is a district manager for Proctor and Gamble. Another p&Ger is Frank Gurdziel, who's in pharmaceuticals in Cincinnati.

Doug Coonrad has established a private law practice in Hudson, lowa. Hudson's population is 2,000. After 11 years in the Navy, Doug said it's great getting involved in small-town life.

After 11 years in New York City, Fred Meyer has moved to Denver, where he can't find a decent French or Italian restaurant. "New York City spoils you in that regard," he said, "but the skiing mitigates the culinary losses." Fred is a partner at Holland and Hart, which is the biggest firm in the Rockies.

Henry Ingersoll has a private practice in cardiology after two years at Dartmouth Medical School and then U.C.L.A. Medical School. Wife Marsha was a 1966-spring-vacation-in- Fort-Lauderdale sweetheart who has now presented him with Christopher, Jennifer, and Timothy Ingersoll.

Bruce Noonan is an ophthalmologist in Edmonds, Wash., having completed his residency at the University of California in Sacramento. He's still a lieutenant commander in the Navy Reserve and happy not to be sitting on an aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf.

Ron Fagin is manager of a newly-formed computer science theory group at the IBM Research Lab in San Jose, Calif. He and wife Renne are busy redecorating an 1894 Victorian house in Los Gatos, Calif.
