Another out-of-doors type is Jay Worthen, who lives with his wife Cindy in a 200-year-old "plank construction" house in Drewsville, N.H. Recently engaged is Phil Gioia, who is living in Manhattan and is a public health resident with the state of New York. His fiancee, Suyette Gearry, is an accountant with the Albany County, N.Y., Health Department, where Phil was previously employed. If your tax return is audited this spring, call Bill Carney in Seattle. Bill, who formerly worked for the Internal Revenue Service, has written some sharp criticism about IRS audit licies His material was published recently in the New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Presently Bill is with the legal unit of the Department of Education's Office of Student Financial Assistance, locating people who have defaulted on student loans.
