Barry Abbot continues to enjoy San Francisco, where he is an attorney with Morrison & Foerster. His wife Marcia is a systems manager for Bechtel Power Corporation there. Bill Emmons is living in Houston, where he is a coordinator of products distribution for Union Texas Petroleum Company.
Another Californian is Allen Lowry, who is an architect in the Oakland area specializing in solar energy. He is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley School of Architecture and a former resident of the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. An unusual odyssey has led Osman Deniztekin to Istanbul, Turkey, where he manages a publishing house which has •printed the works of Mario Puzo, Erica Jong, Norman Mailer, and others in Turkish. Osman has also been a journalist and an exporter of glassware.
Neenah, Wise., is home for Philip Munroe, who is an attorney there. Phil is a 1975 graduate of Boston University School of Law. Eliot Demello is a resident in orthopedic medicine in Houston.
Richard Godfold is thriving as a publisher of hand-printed lithographs by American Indians. He and his wife Cathy live in Albuquerque, N.M.
Paul Hodes continues to direct theater and conduct his rock band in Dumbarton, N.H., where in his spare time he works as an assistant attorney general for the state of New Hampshire, prosecuting white-collar criminals. Robert Deyle is an environmental consultant for the Syracuse-Orandoga County Planning Agency and lives in Syracuse, N.Y.
Ted Swan is an attorney in Chicago with Kirkland and Ellis and is married to Mary Goldberg, who was an exchange student at the College in 1971. She is a graduate of Wheaton College. He writes that John Wheeler is a urology resident at Boston University and that he and his wife Michelle live in Cambridge. Ted also notes that David Mechlin is an advertising executive in Frankfort, West Germany, and that Wells Martin is a radiologist in Elizabeth City, N.C., and is enjoying the "laid-back" lifestyle with his wife Karen. Also according to Ted, Alan Lovell has opened a second summer cookie store in Maine and is planning a restaurant in Portland, Maine.
Peter Benzinger is a market researcher in Puerto Rico, where he and his wife Margie are enjoying the sunshine. Rick Surrey is practicing law in Washington, D.C., with Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft.
Craig Bentley writes from Paris to say that he has accepted a new job in Europe and will start July 1 as vice president and treasurer for Citibank in Amsterdam. He notes that PeteBroberg and his wife Bev have a baby girl and are living in West Palm Beach, Fla. He also states that Charlie Nearburg is running his own oil exploration company in Dallas and that Peter Thompson and his wife Susie have two daughters. The Thompsons live in LaFayette, Calif., where Pete works for Del Monte Company.
Bruce Swift writes that he remains a bachelor and works in the Boston area. Todd Leventhal and his wife Maureen live in Washington, D.C., where he is a staff associate at the Georgetown University Center for Strategic and International Studies. He also worked as a researcher for former President Richard Nixon's book, The Real War.
