The mail was kinder this month, and I heard from several classmates who have not previously written. The contributions are greatly appreciated by myself and the readers as well.

Not long ago I discovered that in a lighter moment (perhaps Miller Lite?), Rick Angulo had written to say that Mike Cetrone was ranching in Montana. I have since learned, though, that this is somewhat distant (a few hundred miles) from the truth. Mike will soon be graduating with honors from Northwestern Law School and will be working with Nutter, McClennen, and Fish, one of the top law firms in Boston. Apologies, Mike, and congratula- tions on your accomplishment.

From halfway 'round the girdled earth came a note from Paul Gigot. He is still in Hong Kong where, for four months (between doses of caffeine), he has been working on the news desk of the Far Eastern Economic Review. He has recently been liberated, though, and is now assigned to the China business beat. Thus, he manages to combine two areas about which he knows little — East Asia and economics. He also plays on a local basketball team.

Tali Arik wrote to fill us in on all that has happened since graduation, three long years ago. He and Roger Ulrich spent the summer of 1977 in Turkey, visiting Tali's relatives and the beautiful beaches there. The end of the summer brought Tali back to the States, where he began medical school at the University of Louisville. Medical school must not be quite as rigorous as we French majors have been led to believe, for Tali's social life seems not to have suffered. In fact, he will be marrying Talia Liebermann on August 31 in Louisville. Roger, Scott Andrews, and Andy Repasy will be groomsmen. In January, the Ariks will move to Phoenix, where Tali will train in internal medicine and Talia will find work as a lawyer. All classmates are invited to the wedding and Tali will be happy to host anyone passing through Phoenix during the next year.

The other wedding in the news was that of Mary Walter and Roland Feltner '78. The wed- ding took place December 30, and Derika Her-mann, Mikeal Yoshii, and Tom Bailey attended. Derika is working in Hanover at the Mary Hitchcock Mental Health Center and is very active in the Dartmouth Area Christian Fellowship. Mikeal is a first-year law student at the University of California at Davis. Tom Bailey has taken a leave of absence from Leo Burnette Advertising in Chicago and is currently adventuring around the country. As for Mary and Roland, they are living in Cincin- nati, where Mary is a second-year law student at the University of Cincinnati Law School and Roland is doing medical research (he'll enter U. of Cincinnati Med School this fall).

Randy Miller will be graduating from Washington University Medical School in May and will be starting an internship in surgery at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. His wife Debbie will be graduating from business school and will look for employment upon arrival in Texas.

In March 1980, six Reynolds Scholarships were awarded by Dartmouth. Carlton Hicks was a recipient and he will spend next year studying classics at Oxford University.

John Collen detailed his accomplishments in a recent letter. He will graduate in May from Georgetown Law Center and will join the Chicago firm of Peterson, Ross, Schloerb, and Seidel. John won the Leahy Prize Moot Court Competition in March and he recently com- pleted a teaching fellowship at Georgetown in legal research and writing. John also passed on word that Mike Denton is to be married on May 24.

With the advent of summer, the ALUMNI MAGAZINE takes a brief respite from its monthly publication schedule, giving you the opportunity to send in news from all over. I would enjoy hearing from you, and brief post- cards are fine, though invitations to various school graduation ceremonies only are not acceptable. Best wishes to all for a wonderful summer.

A pair of Moroccan camels and their Dartmouth riders posed for the camera lastMarch outside Marrakesh. David Richardson '77, left, is stationed with the PeaceCorps in Morocco, where Michael Morgan '7B, right, paid him a month-long visit.
