By the time you read this issue, spring will be in the air up here in northern New England. The snow will be gone and green grass and budded trees will be the order of the day. A nice time of year, as we all can recall.

A short note has come from Alan M. Overton Sr. down in Winter Park, Fla. He turned 91 on February 17 and is getting along just fine, thanks to his trusty cane.

A nice note from Eleanor Hopkins, widow of Robert C. Hopkins, reads as follows: "Thank you for taking on this thankless job. I am not in touch with any classmates, but have a son Bob '51 and two granddaughters, '78 and '81. So I keep well posted." Another welcome card came from Gay Del-

linger, widow of John Dellinger. She writes that she was pleased to receive the list of our 1914 classmates and widows. A number of these names are familiar and she hopes to write soon to many of them. She remembered visiting John and Bunny Burleigh in Maine after the 50th reunion. Her son John and his wife Virginia live in Woodlands, Tex., and her daughter and son-in-law live near her in Austin, Tex.

Let me hear from you, as it is your news that makes this column possible. Until the next time . . .
