In a new job one hears from old friends. It can be reported that Dick Parkhurst is active, skiing and whatnot, and as thoughtful as ever. Dan Dinsmoor does his own food shopping, cooks his own meals, and walks a mile in good weather. (Me, too, Dan.) Jim Colton, that Yankee of Yankees, is able to stay up long enough to have his bed made, as the saying goes.

Dan Lindsley has a new address: Casa Or- ange, 142 South Prospect, Orange, Calif. 92669. Following his wife's death in Septem- ber, Dan moved to be near his son, Dan Jr., is a professor of genetics at the Lajolla branch of the University of California. Dan is feeling healthy, having just gone through a medical mill.

Ev Parker has a married daughter on one coast and a married son on the other. During the holidays he left a hospital in Denver and then landed in a Silicon Valley hospital when he got to California. He said the food was wonderful. Ev has a strong constitution, made up of alternate layers of Rocky Mountain and New England granite.
