This column will be short and sweet. The special reunion issue which will follow will cover news of various and sundry classmates gathered at our Green Beacon Weekend. I would simply like to dedicate this column to the individuals who devoted so much time and made such an effort to organize a great reunion for all of us.
As chairman, Steve Quigley was absolutely tireless and he did a masterful job of coordinating the entire effort. Suzanne Quigley also pitched in and did a great job with the class recipe book. We all owe them our thanks.
Tom Beckmann and Paul Sehl were the two moneymen. Tom was irreplaceable as reunion treasurer, and Paul put in a tremendous amount of time as the reunion giving chairman.
The fact that we all had plenty of food and drink is a tribute to Wayne Davis. Mike Hanitchak deserves a round of applause for the organization of all the entertainment for the reunion. And Ben Wilson, as director of "leisure activities," made sure that everyone had plenty to do.
Finally, Caren Diefenderfer directed the committee involved with awards and uniforms, and Warren Jurovaty gave of his free time to direct the reunion registration.
We thank all of these individuals for their efforts in behalf of the class. I'll be back next time with a specific reunion report.
