Mrs. Lucy Edmondson, who is the widow of Alex Henderson, is the first to send in a contribution to the 1987 Alumni Fund. As usual it was a very generous check.

Elmer Pilsbury spent a busy summer in Maine. He says many more friends visit him in Maine in the summer than is the case in Newton in winter. Guess they like the scenery and the bathing.

Hal Morse had a mild heart attack but is all right now. He has a home on the beach and likes to swim but has been slowed down recently by the "Red Tide."

The Sandoes usually go to California in December, but in recent years they have had trouble with the Christmas traffic, and so this year they went for two weeks in November.
