Sorry. For those of you who looked long and hard for last month's column - indeed, it was not there. I was unduly

late in getting the copy to Hanover, and you saw the result. My apologies; with only three columns left to go before my retirement, you can expect no similar per formance.

Rumor has it that offspring, spouses, and significant others may outnumber classmates at the reunion. The more the merrier. And that may well be the motto of Janice and Jay Swain, who write, "We've been negligent about writing in on the birth of our second son, Gregory Lee, born March 18, 1986. We thought we better get hipn in before our third, due in early June, comes. We're still hoping to get to the reunion if all goes well with #3." The Swains live in Hamilton, N.Y., where Jay teaches at Colgate.

Last November Andrew Patrick Thayer, at nine pounds five and a half ounces, joined sister Karen, three years old, and parents Maria and Scott Thayer on the June reunion scroll. Scott is currently finishing up two years as special assistant in the Bureau of Oceans and International Environment and Scientific Affairs in the Department of State. He expects to be transferred overseas in the summer, sometime after June 21.

Royce Yudkoff married Jody Krupp last November. Royce and Jody five in Wellesley, Mass., and Royce serves as a partner in the international management consulting firm of Bain and Company. Out where the sun still shines in the winter, La Jolla, Calif., Daniel Kronemyer and Cynthia Green exchanged vows last October. Daniel, with a degree from the University of San Diego College of Law, is practicing law while Cynthia is a teacher.

Also last October, Bill Stout and Janey Dwyer were wed in South Dartmouth, Mass. Bill works as a property investment analyst for Sun Life of Canada while Janet is an administrative assistant for Pruden tial Health Care Systems.

Our class is well represented in the workings of this magazine. A note from Sue Wiley Young just alerted me to the fact that she has been the advertising manager for the Alumni Magazine since last June. She is also involved in a number of different aspects of its production. Sue is married to Tracy Young (St. Anselm '75) and has a three-year-old son, Matthew. Recently she has found the time to return to the slopes for some downhill racing. Also associated with the magazine are Susan Dentzer, who is on the editorial board, and Nancy Wasserman, a free-lance photographer who contributes both photos and articles to many issues.

Tali Arik writes that things are going well for him and his family in Phoenix. At the cardiology department of the hospital where he works he frequently runs into Dave KesseJ. He adds that Andy and LoriRepasy and their daughter, Stephanie, were through town not too long ago. Lastly, from Milford, Conn., Dave Pfister sends word that he is completing a ninemonth clinical fellowship at Yale, after which he will move on to the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York to start a fellowship in hematology/oncology.

Last September Barbara Reinertsen was married to Terry Nordmann in Wilton, Conn. Terry, who in the past has been a broadcast news reporter both in Bangor and Portland, Maine, currently works for the Maine Office of Energy Resources. Barbara and Terry reside in Topsham,Maine.

In closing, here is a statement from the dynamic duo Bambi and Sandy Wood, who are cochairing the reunion committee with Gretchen Heller Farmer: "NOW is the time to make your reservations for our fabulous tenth reunion. If your registration envelope has strayed or been misplaced, you can send your deposit directly to the committee. A deposit of $50 per adult and $25 per child will guarantee that you will not be left out of the EVENT of this decade. Please send deposits, along with your name and address to: Sandy Wood, RD 1 Box 111 C, Norwich, VT 05055."

See you next month. Better yet, see you June 19-21 in Hanover.
