Calculators ready? Here it is, the final inprint column that you will receive to add names to your already collected '82 names that have been written in the '82 column of the Alumni Magazine class notes for the past five years. I won't go over all the rules and nitty-gritties of the '"82 Column Names Contest" here since I covered it pretty well last month. This is just a reminder to count 'em up and to send me your tally by June 15. Remember, names only count once even if they have been included more than that over the five years. The June column figures will be included in the pool, but it will not have been distributed prior to our reunion, so, a bit of guessing will have to be done on your part. But, with good research into your Alumni Mag archives for issues October 1982 to May 1987 an educated guess can be made for the June column additions. The entry that is closest under or over wins the Grand Prize to be awarded at our Fifth Reunion Class Dinner, Saturday night, June 20th.

Speaking of which . . . ARE YOU READY? June 19, 20, 21, 1987. Hanover, N.H. The scene of an incredible extravaganza: the Fifth Reunion of the Dartmouth class of 1982. The tents are being struck, the band is warming up, the river is getting warmer, the Green is getting greener . . .

join in the fun? The Saturday picnic will be held down by the river and entertainment will be provided by a jazz combo made up of several ex-Barbary Coast musicians. There will also be sailboats, canoes, and windsurfers available. A bit later, a round robin tennis tournament will take place, organized by Kristin Farrish.

A Special Reunion Announcement: anyone who would like to go to a cabin either before of after the reunion should send a letter stating that to: Jennifer ChandlerHauge, 24 Pilgrim Court, Convent Station, NJ 07961. Jenny will then forward the letter to the powers-that-be and your request will be taken care of. This address (Jenny's) is the same address to which you can send your reunion registration check if you haven't already done so and you would like to join in. The cost is $99 per person.

Now, to add at least a few names to your thus-far-through-April calculated entries for the '82 Column Names Contest.

The books are put (or thrown) away, exams are a thing of the past, and life in the real world does exist. Sterling Champ and Doug Brown finished up their M.B.A. program at Wharton last May. Doug headed back to New York and is working there for Drexel Burnham Lambert Financial Institutions Group, while Sterling is working for Vantage Companies, a national real estate developer. Sterling is living in New Jersey following his training in Dallas.

Becky Forbes finished up her master's degree in psychology (a 15-month intensive program) at Gonzaga University, Spokane, Wash., this past August. Becky has returned to her native Alaska to work in Anchorage at Charter North Hospital as a family therapist. Books and exams might not completely be a thing of the past for Becky, though. She is thinking of continuing her studies and pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology.

Fred Blum graduated from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans last year. Fred is currently in San Diego doing his internship and will start his anesthesiology residency at the University of California, San Francisco, July 1.

Peter Fitzgerald put law school securely behind him and is now working for the law firm that Robert Todd Lincoln founded in 1872 the Chicago firm of Isham, Lincoln, and Beale. Peter has already begun his political career as a Republican party precinct captain in Palatine, Ill.

And, finally, what would a column be if there were no engagement or wedding news? Could you possibly imagine it? Well, to ensure that there is no disappointment, I offer to you the annoucement of JohnKritzmacher's engagement to Rae Croner and the report that earlier this year, LauraMorrell married George V. Hicks of Conventry, Conn. Best wishes to all. So, the countdown begins. Reunion reminders:

1. Send in your '82 Column Names Contest entries to me, at the above address, postmarked by June 15.

2. If you would like to reserve a cabin pre or post-reunion, write to Jenny Chandler Hauge at the address given earlier in the column.

3. If you would like to register for the reunion, please send $99 per person to Jenny Chandler Hauge.

4. Get ready for a great time .... See you there. Em.
