A telethon and a successful mini-reunion have passed since I've written a column. I have a lot of news, for a change.

Remember a few months ago when I asked for information on several lost classmates? Well, I'm happy to report that at least one of them was not truly lost, just busy! Marci Dabbs has spent the last two years studying at pre-medical school in Alabama. In May she returned to her home in California, where she'll start filling out applications for medical schools in California, Boston, and New York.

I had a great conversation with Tori Parrott from the Chicago Telethon. Tori is living in Seattle, working for Roadway Express, and loving it. Her apartment seems to be a stomping ground for other travelling '85s, as she reeled off a whole list of people who had visited her recently. Tori told me that Beth Snell is working in White Plains, N.Y., and living with four roommates in Chappaqua. She also told me that Brenda Healy is engaged to be married to a Dartmouth '86 in September. How about some details, Brenda?

I caught Heidi Clark on her way out of Bloomington, Ind., where she's been studying opera. She was packing her belongings and heading to Boston, New York, Ireland, and then Italy to continue her studies. While in New York Heidi visited SharonMatthews, who has finished her job with Goldman Sachs and will be moving to Washington, D.C., after a sailing vacation in Greece with her father.

Congratulations to Doug Geehan and Mary Brady, who tied the knot in Houston in June. Doug is attending the University of Texas Med School in Dallas, while Mary is a training manager for Paul Harris. JimTuttle was Doug's best man. John Macario was married to Joyce Walsh on May 24 in Pittson, Pa. Joyce graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in May with a degree in information science and history. John is a professor at Wheeling College in Wheeling, W.Va.

The class of '895 is going to have many great doctors, but I'm sure Ahron Fiedberg will be among the best. In addition to the senior fellowship Ahron has already received, he was recently awarded a Howard Hughes Research Scholarship from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. Ahron was chosen from a nationwide pool of applicants and will work with leading scientists from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has also had his research published in the British Medical Journal.

Have you heard that the reason why TomConnolly didn't graduate with our class is because he caught the political bug? In December Tom was elected and sworn in as a Republican member of the New Hampshire legislature. In the State House in Concord Tom plans to speak for the concerns he heard voiced by constituents during his campaign. Connolly would like to be sure New Hampshire consumers aren't hit with high electric power rates .when the big and expensive nuclear generation station at Seabrook goes on line. He also wants to be sure that a substantial part of the Granite State's budget surplus is returned to local communities. Good luck, Tom!

Jonathon Auerbach studied at Christ Church College, Oxford University, before starting a job with McKinsey Management Consultants in New York City. Rob Clark dropped in on Jonathon while on spring vacation in London. Rob is starting his last year of law school at the University of Connecticut.

There are new limits to the number of words this column is allotted, and I'm about out. Thanks to our illustrious mini-reunion chairpeople, Mimi Rielly and Lucy Harvey, for all their hard work.
