An announcement from Charlie Blaisdell, counsellor at law, states he has opened new offices at One North Lexington Avenue, White Plains, NY 10601.

Beautiful, crisp, fall weather prevailed for a successful mini-reunion on September 1617. About 50 people attended during the weekend. Friday night, our alumni councilor, Lem Bowen, was brilliant speaking to us on "Ernest Martin Who?" With so much talent in '37 we don't need to recruit speakers from the outside. A thank-you to Charlie Blaisdell and John Johannessen for planning a super weekend. If you missed this mini, plan ahead for September 15-16, 1989, when Princeton will be in Hanover.

At the class meeting, Ben Doran, our class trips chairmen, described the plans being made for a Danube River Trip in October 1989. I'm sure it will equal the Rhine River trip of September 1985. Carolyn and I hope to be aboard with many others of the '37 family.

A mailing from Fred Asher reminds us that he has fig trees, luscious tree-ripened Florida citrus, and imported Dutch amaryllis available from his Lifetime Nursery Products, 1866 Sheridan Road, Highland Park, IL.

Dana Prescott, head agent, reports the final figures for the 1988 Alumni Fund for 1937 reached $11,227, surpassing our goal of $100,000. Participation was 87.1 percent, good enough to win '37 first place in our group in the Green Derby, says Dana. We thank all the '37 family who contributed and solicited other classmates and particularly Dana for a great performance in his first year as head agent.

Fiftieth wedding anniversaries are rolling around for some of us who married in the late '30s. Carolyn and I celebrated our anniversary on September 10.
