The question of the hour is is it Sligo, Ireland, or Folkston, Ga., that will be my next destination? I'm representing someone in Folkston, where everybody knows everybody, and unless you know somebody you can't get a continuance in the case. So keep your fingers crossed; it will either be green landscapes, Guinness beer, and "Wild Irish Rose" or jowly judges, overripe peaches, and "Georgia On My Mind."

Charles Rosenthal announces the birth of his son, Mark Alexander Rosenthal, born January 20.

Joe Hatcher writes that he is doing well as an assistant professor of psychology at Ripon College in Wisconsin and sends greetings to all his former compatriots on the fourth floor of French Hall.

Jim Riehl is in the process of relocating from Fairfield County, Conn., to Green Bay, Wis. He is leaving consumer marketing at Nestle for a position as marketing director at Fort Howard Corporation.

Mike DeVries has starred as "Freddy" in an off-Broadway production of My FairLady which was on tour at the Providence Center for Performing Arts. The Company will travel through the country and on to Japan for a four-week engagement in Tokyo this year.

And in Bakersfield, Calif., Bruce Bilger announces that he is now a partner with the Houston firm of Binson & Elkins, and served as ARCO's chief outside counsel on its acquisition of Tenneco's West Coast oil and gas assets. He worked with our own Rick Ranger for several weeks last year on the acquisition.

Also in Bakersfield are Michael andSheryl DeGenring. Michael works for ARCO and is business manager of the western district in the oil and gas division. Sheryl is employed by American Airlines.

That will be all for this column. I'll fill you in on the Folkston versus Ireland decision next time.
