Bruce Alpert recently visited Hanover to deliver his son Seth into the arms of Mother Dartmouth. The three days Seth spent at our reunion convinced him that Hanover was the place he wanted to hang his hat for the next four years. Brace's wife, Jeanne, went along for the 3,000-mile round trip ride. It is amazing what our wives put up with! Brace's new hobby is baseball card collecting, which competes with his professional life as pediatric cardiologist and associate professor at the University of Tennessee. Bruce spent a week in Kenya last summer at an international meeting of his speciality and says that the animal safaris are really spectacular but you should go before the vans outnumber the animals.

The Portland, Maine, law offices of Perkins, Thompson, Hinldey and Keddy have lost the services of Richard Moon who is now a partner of Moon, Moss and McGill. The firm will provide counseling and litigation services on all aspects of labor and employment relations law for management in both the public and private sectors.

Dick Glovsky (yes, him again) reports that he and Rich Kelly, Bill Buckley, AndyMcLane, and David Noble had lunch with trustee Bob Danziger '56. Also present were Lowell Richards, Clint Harris, JohnLeavitt, Fred Becker, and Barry Hoffmaster. There was a "no holds barred" discussion of The Review, fraternities, and Dartmouth "University." Bob made it clear that the College has absolutely no intention of becoming Harvardized. Dick thanks John Leavitt for arranging the lunch and says they plan to have similar events in the future. Give Dick a call if you are in the Boston area and wish to attend.

Bob Lundquist spent three weeks at the end of the summer as temporary assistant Dartmouth football coach during double sessions. Head Coach Buddy Teevens '79 spoke at the Dartmouth Club in Tucson (where Bob lawyers) and afterwards Bob sweet-talked him into the deal. Despite the physical demands and near 24-hour work days, Bob loved it and is ready to trade his briefcase for a whistle full time. Bob hooked up with Vic Chaltain and Steve Adams while back east and attended the annual "Adams Slabknob Talent Show."

Bill Stableford and Pete Anderson, along with respective sons Tyler and Jeff, joined six other guys on a four-day backpacking trip in the White Mountains (I assume you know where they are). Bill sent along a handsome picture taken atop Eagle Crag.
