Well, I've got my red dress and I'm headed for San Francisco to see Pavarotti sing the part of Rudolpho in the San Francisco opera production of "La Boheme." I'm taking a break from evenings at the jail, afternoons with belligerent judges, and emergency calls from bail bondsmen.

Anyway, we should all be looking forward to our 15 th Reunion, which will be in Hanover, June 16—18, 1989. Plans include a hike to Mount Moosilauke, a visit with the new president, James O. Freedman, the Glee Club, a live radio show at our tent, golf, tennis, sports, dancing, and lots of music. Mark it on your calendars! Contact BruceWilliamson 312/945-2525 for further information.

Pam Petreguin writes that in 1980 she married Dan Ringsred '75. She obtained her doctorate in microbiology from the University of Minnesota and her postdoctorate from the University of Michigan in 1986. They have two boys, Patrick, 5, and Michael, 2 1/2 (of course, Dartmouth legacies!). She is expecting a third in February and hoping for a girl. Pam loves research and will return to it in the near future. Dan is an investment banker with First Bank of Milwaukee.

Steven A. Sandberg of Park Ridge, N.J., writes that he was very distressed to learn of the disappearance of Margaret Winthrop. She was a close friend and he will miss her very much. We still have no news of Margaret since she disappeared. If anyone has heard from her, I have the proper contact address in Washington, D.C.

Charles Post writes that he is marketing director of the National Journal in Washington, D.C. It is a small but prestigious publishing company in Washington which sells high-priced information products to people who run the government or want to influence the government. Charles has been with the National Journal almost four years and lives in Arlington, Va., with his wife, Ann, and year-old son Daniel. Charles is active with the Dartmouth Club of Washington. He wants to know whether any of his fraternity brothers from Phi Tau are coming to the 15 th Reunion.

News from Jack Martin is that his training with the Coors Lite team in preparation for the Tour de France is going extremely well. He has, however, become bored with Venice and longs for the ocean air and the thrill of windsurfing. He plans to take a short vacation on the Aegean and work on his upcoming novel, "Don't Worry, Be Happy." Hopefully the salt air and Greek goddesses will revive him.

Paul Gross had an article published in the September, 1988, volume of the New Physician. The column tracks "a graduating student's medical school experience in all its glory and embarrassment as it passes before his eyes." The article was taken from a speech delivered at the 1988 Albert Einstein College of Medicine commencement where Paul was a member of the class. It is a sensitive and interesting article and certainly worth searching for, especially for all class members who are physicians. Paul is a family-practice intern at Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J.

Have a happy '89 and come to the reunion. Mary
