Word has been received of the death of Duncan G. Upton November 20, 1989, in South Deerfield, Mass.

Ted Geisel's latest book, Oh, The Places You'll Go, is about to go to press, and his anti-drug cartoons are being distributed free to newspapers throughout the country by the San Diego Tribune. His Dr. Seuss books and cartoons are known to all generations throughout the English-speaking world.

Curt Abel's death in November was a shock to all of us who have served with him at one time or another as class agents, reunion committees, class officers, etc. Dartmouth and our class were priorities with him, and he seldom missed a reunion or mini-reunion. He is sorely missed. The class sustained a real loss in the death of Curt Abel, our class president, a persistent, loyal worker for the class ever since graduation. His replacement as president, Kenneth Montgomery, is an equally dedicated '25er. Added to the executive committee is Phil O'Connell.

Bob Misch reports that he and his wife of 51 years are in good shape enjoying life and still doing his thing with wine tasting, lectures, and writing.

Thought for the month: Some people have the gift of gab but don't know how to wrap it up.
