Three candidates for the class of 2011 were born to classmates this fall: Ted Agoos and Martha Moffat had a December baby (Sam Moffat Agoos), as did Bill Schur and Donna Fletcher '77 (Robert Louis Schur). Craig and Kathy McGraw Bendy had a son born in October (Jonathan Erik McGraw Bendy). All boys and mothers are reported to be doing fine. Christmas mail brought several cards and family photos, including Joel and Susan Hyatt with Jared and Zachary; Bill Price with Erika; Evan and Jana Jurkovich without their parents, John and Nancy Jurkovich; and Patrick Shanley without his parents, Gary and Ginny Shanley. Bob and Helen Nycz apparently didn't have a wide-angle lens for their brood Robert, Marie, Michael, Karen, and Kate and just sent a card.

Mark Stitham continues his psychiatric practice in Honolulu, although his acting avocation has apparently accelerated with a part in a "Jake and the Fat Man" episode this fall on CBS. Greg Yadley was elected chairman of the Arts Council of Hillsborough County, Fla., and was also appointed to the board of directors of the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, and was elected to the board of directors of the Tampa Business Committee for the Arts. And he still has time to practice corporate and securities law for Dykema Gossett, where he is a partner.

Evan Ballard was elected chief of the medical staff of Chatham Memorial Hospital in Jonesville, N.C. Evan and Marianne and their three sons live in nearby Elkin, N.C. John Copenhaven was named head of the Derivative Products Group for Sumitomo Bank Capital Markets in New York. David Gustin was named senior vice president of marketing at Frito Lay here in Dallas. David and Fran and their two children relocated from Scarsdale, N.Y., where he served in several managerial positions for General Foods.
