Another frosty winter strikes—take heart from the warm and fuzzy news of our classmates. ErnieTorain wrote in about his marriage to Karin Schengrund in August. The '87s in attendance included Ed Boyle, Greg Garr, JohnFuhrman, John Randolph, Chris Matonis, John Muelhauser, Desmond Hussey, and Rick Pepperman. Congratulations to Ernie and Karin, who live in Chicago. (P.S. In response to Ernie's comment that certain Betas are always complaining that they never know any of the folks written about in this column, I say pick up a pen and get yourself mentioned.) Christopher McCoy, a Ph.D. in chemistry from MIT, is now doing research at Raychem in Menlo Park, Calif.

I've just found out Ken Block is a neighbor of mine here in Barrington, R.I. He recently left GTECH Corp. and started a software consulting company. His weekend visitors include Kent Zehner, who is a partner at Radnor Associates, a railroad leasing company in Philadelphia. SandySloane roller blades with Ken when she's not working as a management consultant at Fletcher, Spade. Diana Doran is computing her M.S.W. at Boston University. SteveConlin is married to wife Christel and they have a daughter, Kerri, and a dog, Sampson. Steve is with Coopers and Lybrand in Boston. Linda Ouva is an attorney with the attorney general's office here in Rhode Island. Star Bailey is now in California studying chiropractic medicine. Thanks, Ken, for all the updates.
