1926 knew the Alumni Fund goal was set at a staggering $126,000, but at our 65th Reunion $16,000 was still needed. Undaunted, Head Agent George Scott, with the June 30 deadline twelve days away, made an extraordinary plea which netted us $155,888. Even though every year we are a smaller class, sirs and mesdames, there are those who love '26 and Dartmouth College.
Male Jones, Art Smith, Chuck Webster, and Bill Willard were elected at reunion to join continuing members of the Executive Committee Doug Everett, Dick Nichols, George Scott, and Bob Stopford for the ensuing years.
The new lifetime retirement community known as Kendal at Hanover, 80 Lyme Road, is now the home of Tubba and BarbaraWeymouth in Apartment 354, phone remaining the same: 603/643-2326.
Warren and Dorothy Fellingham also are new residents of a lifetime retirement community in Northbrook, 111., 2625 Teckney Road, Apartment 601. They were able to attend the Winnetka, 111., memorial service for Henry Parker, but could not make the long Hanover reunion trip.
Worthy Walters of Highland Park, 111, had a hip operation in June; he promised re- covery in four to six weeks and did so on schedule. Congratulations!
Dick Mann, Boston, missed reunion because of neuroma, a rare nerve disease in his feet that keeps him off them except when he takes limited pain pills. He remembers in the early days watching Dartmouth football while sitting in the family Stanley steamer automobile parked next to the field, having driven from their hometown of Quechee, Vt. Doubtless the horn was honked when Dartmouth scored.
