Well, by now most of you have made all your plans to be in Hanover for the big 25th Reunion. Paul Killebrew and Rob Kugler have almost all of the plans completed with the help of their great group of volunteers, and June 18-21 looks like it will be an incredible event. It is still not too late for a late registration. In preparation for the big event, I have been polling classmates on what unresolved mysteries from our collective past they most want to have solved at reunion. Among the most popular answers are:
• What did the College really do with the results of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Test that all those intimidated freshman took in Dartmouth Hall during Freshman Week?
• What miracle neering kept the Bones Gate when we were after those Sun- Fogcutters? of modern engichandelier at from falling swinging on it day afternoon
• Why were from Dartdown the banisstaircase at the after the Harman year, doing those nice boys mouth sliding ter of the main Boston Hilton vard game fresh- those silly things?
• Which group of '67s really won the "Seven Sisters" road trip rally at the beginning of sophomore year, who cheated, and how?
For the answers to those and other hidden secrets of the class of '67, you will just have to come to Hanover.
On the serious side, we all know the pressures on non-profit institutions in today's economy. Never has the Alumni Fund been more important to Dartmouth's ability to maintain its excellence. The timing of our reunion makes our gift this year essential to the students who have followed us to Hanover. Sam Ostrow and Howard Sharfstein have been providing great leadership with their volunteer group to meet our goal of $1,367,000. It is in sight, and it is not too late to play a role. Large or small, your commitment counts. Let's make the check we present at Reunion as large as possible.
I'm looking forward to making some new friends and seeing some old ones at Reunion.
