This month's mail brought word from Larry Fabian in Cambridge. Larry is the founder of "Transportation Systems for the 21st Century," a newsletter on electronically smart transit developments. After about six years of growth without support from industry or government, Larry reports that they are not only surviving, but "almost prospering." Given the number of hours I have logged in traffic jams and airport delays of late, I should think that Larry's work would make good required reading for transportation policy-makers.

BiD Yaggy, our mini-reunion chair, has announced that a special event is planned for Saturday, June 10, in New York City. All '67s and friends of the class are invited to a theater party to see Jerry Zaks's latest Broadway show, Lend Me a Tenor. The show, described as a rousing farce, was a smash hit in London before Jerry directed the New York production. We will gather for drinks after the play, which is at the Royale Theater. If you have not received details on this event and are interested in tickets, call Bill Yaggy at 212/601-3018. Bill's plans also call for mini-reunions next fall in Hanover on Dartmouth Night and in New York after the Columbia game.

In his other life Bill has duties at Planned Parenthood. In addition to responsibilities in the budget and finance area, Bill is now directing the participation of Planned Parenthood in local, state, and federal employee campaigns. He also reports that son Sam has been accepted for nursery school (the significance of which will be appreciated by those living in the New York area).

I am always struck by the range of where we are in the parenting (and tuition-paying) process. Dave Curtis reports that he is doing his share to support American higher education with a daughter who's a freshman at Bennington, a son about to start Colby, and wife Ebie a junior at Maryland. Dave's contributions to education aren't only financial, for he now teaches 21 residents at George Washington University where he is a professor of radiology.

The mail has been fight of late. Do write and share your news with all of us.
