1940

Just back from Alaska and the Yukon Territory. Not a 1940 in sight, but plenty of caribou, bald eagles, grizzly bears, and totem poles. Helped celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Alcan Highway. The mail was stacked high on the return to Cape Cod, but nary a note from the class. We hope you all are still there.

We have learned that Walker "Ike" Weed was made a Fellow of the American Craft Council, the highest honor a craftsman can receive. Add that to his canoeing exploits, and you have the well-rounded, person we all would wish to be.
