Radford Tanzer kindly reports, "Commencement on June 13 brought Betty Crawford back to Hanover again for the graduation of her grandson Crawford Palmer '93. Crawford transferred from Duke two years ago and served as one of the three captains of the basketball team his last year. Also in attendance were his brother Asa, who will be enrolled at Exeter next year; brother Walter '90, who returned with his fiancee, classmate Sandy Kopenon '91 (they are to be married in July); and die father, Scott Palmer '59. This makes about a dozen relatives of Betty who have graduated from Dartmouth during this century." Great family!

Gertrude and Scoof Newton were also in Hanover for the graduation of their granddaughter Jennifer. She will study law at Michigan. gan. There were 12 in our party. Jennifer is the third grandchild to graduate.

On Class Officers Weekend we struck it rich. Called on Larry Leavitt and Dot, who were celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary. Great occasion. At our meeting Caroline Mcdonough, one of our honorary classmates, came to bring greetings as she always does. She is very loyal. She reported serious damage to their house on the shore at Greenwich, Conn., from storm "No Name" back in December. Lack of power hampered repairs at first. Enjoyed lunch with Caroline's husband, Dick.

More of Pete Blodgett's report from last month: he was so elated to reach his 90th birthday that he went out and bought a Boston Whaler, a 41-footer, named the Frugal Bengal. He will use her for lobstering and fishing at Marion on the Cape. Unbounded energy. Good for you, Pete.

Good to hear from Corinne Kennedy: "We are off to Scotland with our daughter Jan. This will be the fourth year that we have visited Scotland. We love small hotels and B&B's. We are returning to the Isles of Harris and Lewis, Skye, lona, the Orkneys, and Shetlands." Marvelous trip, Corinne!
