Our mini-reunion is history. It looked for a while like we'd have a poor turnout, but a late rally brought attendance to a respectable figure. The football game was a thriller (talk about late rallies wow!); we held a class meeting; and it snowed Saturday night. How's that for a capsule version. I've asked John McClintock to give you all the details in his newsletter.
Here's who was there: Tom and Emilie Adams, Ham and Nancy Bailey, Paul and Helen Barnes, Whitey and Joanne Burnham, Jack and Sally Carter, Tom and Maty Cohn, Jim and Dolores Coleman, Bill and Phoebe Davidson, Ray and Susan De Wees, Ruth Fitchet, Tom and Eileen Gillaugh, Jud and Grace Hannigan, Bob and Jackie Hooper, Sam and Sue Johnson, Clark and June Judge, Bob and Jackie Kimball, Rose- mary Marlette, John and Edie McClintock, Andy and June Murtha, Art and Augusta O'Hara, Phil Osberg, Reg and Nancy Pierce, Robbie and Joan Smith, Walt Snickenberger, "Tiger"and Ann Vallely, Jim and Gene Von Rohr, Harvey and Dottie White, and Art and Jane Young.
Bill Graulty and Jack Whitman were scheduled to appear but illness caused a late cancellation.
Our thanks to Whitey Burnham, who did a super job putting the reunion together. He's already working on 1994 and will be assisted by Walt Snickenberger. Everyone seemed to be happy with a three-night program, so we'll try it again next time. I've asked the football coach to make the games a little less exciting. Coming back from a 28-to-11 deficit with but minutes remaining I'm not sure us old-agers can handle too much of that. It was a great weekend. Thank you all for coming. For those who didn't, start thinking positively about 1994.
I report with sadness the deaths of five of our classmates. Edward Kosmo, William T. White, Charles Furness, Dr. Donald G. Forgays, and John F. Sayers Jr. We extend our deepest sympathy to their families.
