I heard from Wally and Lois Meissner, who moved to northern Minnesota in 1992. Wally is still tuning and repairing pianos for Meissner Piano Service. The bulk of his business is still in the Minneapolis area, and they have a mobile home in which Wally stays when he is there. The business, the remote cabin in Northern Minnesota by the Boundary Waters, and vis- iting kids in Anchorage, Alaska, Houston, Texas, and Edina, Minn., keep them very busy. See you on a canoe trip on the Bound- ary Waters, Wally.

Carl Schultz has moved to the North Woods. He lives and works in Wausau, Wis., where "the air is clear, the people are friendly, and the cost of living is lower." He saw JohnIcke in Madison, where John is living and enjoying semi-retirement. Back to nature sure seems to be in a Dartmouth man's blood.

Rennie Spaulding is living in San Francisco, where he recently moved to the Bank of San Francisco as executive vice president in charge of private and business banking, having previously been president of Chase Manhattan's California Trust Company. He recently visited Hanover with his daughter, who is a senior in high school. He also has a son in Budapest and another at Cal- Berkeley.

Highway Builder magazine recently reported that John Burkhardt is the new president of the Pennsylvania Highway Information Association. John is currently project-development vice president of Urban Engineers in Philadelphia. John has also served as special assistant to the Pennsylvania Secretary of Highways, and as a marketing executive for several major international highway consulting firms.

Bill Colehower, who made tie fall minireunion, advised that in the spring of 1993, he, Earl Glazier, and Craig Harlan spent one week in Ireland accompanied by their wives, Tina, Kathy, and Linda. They played golf at Sligo, Ballybunion, Royal Dublin, and Killarney. They highly recommend visiting Ireland. He also just missed a visit with BrianHepburn, who has a home at Harbour Ridge, in Stuart, Fla.

Don Gliden, M.D., has been living and practicing medicine in Denver, Colo. He recently received a significant grant from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, through the University of Colorado Health Science Center, to fund his research in what triggers M.S. We hope for a very successful conclusion.

A nice note from Jim and Linda Burner: 1993 brought their first grandchild. Congratulations! Jim has plans to retire after 1995 and before July of 1997, but isn't pushing it because he is having so much fan. They enjoyed a safari to Kenya and Tanzania in 1992 and are going to Alaska's Prudhoe Bay this year. Jim has been very active with the Boy Scouts and is a member of the National Council.

Finally, our own class president, JohnFerries, recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro safely and successfully with a group from his hometown. Anything to get away from the phone! John, is it anything like Mt. Moosilauke? I've received several cards and letters but would really like to hear from more of you.
