The feminine counterpart of "senile" (which properly refers to absent-minded or "dotty" old men, but is commonly used for both genders) is "anile." (Both Latin derivitives.) Alas, "anile" describes very well the compiler of these notes. For example, in March I received, too late to include in the May issue, a newsy and interesting letter from one of the faithful female members of tire 1920 family. Since no copy for Class Notes was due until June 15, I carefully (I thought) filed it to use for this summer issue. Now I not only can't find it, I can't even remember who wrote it!
Please, dear correspondent, if YOU remember writing this missing missive, identify yourself, send current news, and accept my abashed apologies.
Please send news, especially about Dartmouth-attending or planning-to-attend descendants, or about reminiscences. I'll try not to lose any future communications!
