I was beginning to worry about not hearing from our most faithful correspondent, Wendell "Sig"Sigler, when a note in Sig's usual upbeat style arrived: "What a treat it was to read your Class Notes of our 75th and to be the first in column one! Thank you for taking the time to represent us and let 'em know 1920 still survives!
"Betty (my wife of 72 years) and I are in the retirement home again (Largo, Fla.) and get around quite well with 'walkers. I'll try to keep you up-to-date on any news items of class members should they come my way although I know of no one."
Thanks, Sig, and keep on writing. Jim Vail '50, son of James D. Vail Jr., and son-in-law of Franklin N. Corbin Jr., both departed members of 1920, has sent a fascinating sketch of the life of Margaret Arronet Corbin, Frank's widow, who passed away in August, shortly before her 96th birthday.
We plan to publish highlights of the long and fruitful life of this distinguished member of the 1920 family in our next issue.
A lovely New Hampshire September has made amends for the unpleasantly hot summer. We look forward to a lovely October.
