Season's greetings and may you have happy holidays with everyone you enjoy seeing. Hey, there's no column this month as I'm writing this for a deadline in early September, and I am still in Vietnam working. I am setting up the HIV/AIDS public education program for the health ministry in Hochiminh City (old Saigon). I wear my 25-year Reunion hat wherever I go to keep the sun out of my eyes. Once I passed a young woman in a Big Green sweatshirt but our eyes did not connect in time to say anything.

Telecommunications being what they are in this communist society (my faxes are read before I can send them), I did not want the authorities to read any intimate details of our lives. But I wanted to at least get this holiday message to you. Remember I can only write if you guys write to me. I need your news. How about it? I will be home by the time this note appears so sit down, drop me a line, e-mail or fax it to my place in Boston. Next month we will hear about Mark Pfeiffer, John Ritchie,Peter "Sunshine" Robinson, AndyKemper et al.

Who would you like to hear from? I'm all ears.
