Spring is here, and June reunions can't be far behind. There are hundreds of members of the class of '65 who are plan ning to come to our 30th Reunion in June, and we hope that we will see you there as "The Roads Lead On."

At the time of our last reunion, StephenKey had been living in Brooklyn Heights, and he was the managing partner of Arthur Young and Co. Five years later, he is living in Omaha, Neb., where he is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of ConAgra Inc. He says that his new wife, Sharon, is an opera singer who teaches voice at a nearby college.

Don Boardman has been busy with reunions at both ends. He was one of the many who came to the mini-reunion in October, and he is now busy with the 30th Reunion. Here is what he wrote last October at the mini: "Jan and I are enjoying our first mini-reunion in many years. I was delighted to feel the energy of Dartmouth Night and bonfires again. I have seen lots more people, mostly much younger, this weekend. Back at home in Bethesda, Md., I am about 75-percent retired from the real-estate-finance business. I am happily spending more time in community service, traveling, and doing a lot of mountain biking. As reunion-giving chairman for our 30th Reunion in June, I'll be talking with many classmates about contributing generously to the Webster Hall project and the Alumni Fund. It's very exciting to work on such a recognizable project as the Webster Hall one. I hope that all classmates will share in the enthusiasm and pitch in." For those of you who do not have a clear picture of our project, the main idea is that the class of 1965 has agreed to support a major study area and exhibition gallery in the renovated Webster Hall. Just as we used to go to the 1902 Room in Baker, students of the future will be studying in the 1965 balconies. Plan to be part of the project.

Tom Meacham came to the mini all the way from Alaska with his wife, Jane, to join their son Scott '95. Tom and Scott played trumpet in the Dartmouth College Marching Band for Dartmouth Night and the Yale game. When the festivities were over, Tom was worn out, but he declared all of it to be fan and great for bringing back old memories. Says Tom, "not many 50 year olds are invited to play in marching bands these days, so I take every opportunity that I can."

Two classmates have inquired about the 25th Reunion yearbook supplement for our 30th. Briefly, the supplement will have to wait for the 40th or the 50th.

One person likely to attend the reunion is Ed Keibel, who can tell us more about his adventures. Ed is the chief executive officer of Dynamic Materials Corp., and he was recently named chairman of the board of this metal working concern.

Look here next month for more news about "The Roads Lead On," with specific details about this great opportunity to come back to Dartmouth for a wonderful weekend with old and new friends.
