Dr. Paul and EstherHarper, Baltimore, Md., spent a four-week vacation in Sanibel, Fla., where they visited Jack Roberts for luncheon at King's Crown nursing home. Very good to see him, they said. Paul was learning to use a laptop computer to write letters. He has a small Hewlett Packard Omnibook, and the printer is loaned by grandchildren who use their parents' newer machine. Incidentally, Paul asked how many classmates are still alive. Well, 552 matriculated, and 54 are left.

Chal Ewing, Scottsdale, Ariz., has information that shows that Eleazar Wheelock was his great-great-great-great-grandfather, which is all very important to Chal and also to the class. Apparently he is in good health. He does not play golf any more, but he takes daily walks without a cane. He has served the Republican party, still drives a car, and keeps up on everything going on.
