Dot Arwe (Ken) reported on a great trip to Egypt. "Ann Jones and I flew to Cairo for a Grand Circle Tour of Egypt. Spent a couple of days in Cairo and then flew to Aswan, where we boarded a ship for five days on the Nile on our way to Luxor. Had side trips most every day. Incredible how old and well preserved everything is." Small world—Ann Jones is an Endicott College classmate of Donna Faunce. Ken Arwe was a fraternity brother of Jack Faunce. SamWilliams, like all of us, can't believe that 76 years have gone by since he appeared in West Orange, N.J. More current, he and Lorraine dined with the Brownes and Cockleys and attended a British comedy, Whose Wife bit Anyway? Sam's description of the launch of the space shuttle Endeavor reminds you of the beauty to be found everywhere.

By the time this is read, the Blizzard of '96 will be just a memory. Ruthe Berry will remember two feet of snow on Cape Cod built up over three days. Chet used his snow blower three times a day to keep up.

Good to hear from Ben Bacon by way of Stet Whitcher. Ben reports that he is still making half-hull models which are shown and sold at the Mystic (Conn.) Seaport Maritime Gallery.

Ann and Bob Berger shared a holiday with a daughter and family at Stratton Mt., Vt. Good skiing if desired. Ann and Bob enjoyed the fire.

Also from Stet, a report from ChalCarothers. He has started his fifth career after retiring from Wall Street four years ago as a loan officer for American Funding, a mortgage broker. Need help with a mortgage? Get in touch with Chal.

Zel and Dick Goulder decided in January to swap the Cleveland, Ohio, winter for the warmth of Palm Springs. Remember how cold it was in the Midwest and New England back in January?
