1927

The class of 1927 continues to rate well in the Alumni Fund Derby for classes in our vintage. However we wouldn't if it weren't for the fine support being given each year by the widows.

The 1995 annual report lists in the leadership groups Mrs. Raymond W. Holbrook, Stephen Dow Mills, Ernest T. Selif Jr., Charles P. Baker Jr., Mrs. Roger Braman , Roger M. Bury, E. Campbell Clokey, Mrs. Joseph M. Creamer, Mrs. Joshua A. Davis, Stuart M. Ensigner, Merritt L. Joslyn, and Mrs. Edward P. Ripley.

Most of our class will reach 91 years of age in 1996. Nine achieved that age last year. Eight will have to wait until 1997. Youngsters in our class are Warren Butterfield, Seth Besse, and Warren B. Smith, all born in 1907.

Additional deaths include William R.Tobey, three-year member of the swimming team, July 26, 1995, and Reginal F.French, retired Amherst professor, February 10, 1996.
