Dave Wender is the center on the jackson (Miss.) Slaps II amateur hockey team. Teammate Thorne Butler '70 plays at defender. When Dave isn't staying young by playing on the ice, he's caring for the very young (as in newborn) as a neonatologist in Jackson where he, spouse Maggie and family live.

Leadership Weekend in September brought a number of '73 class officers to Hanover (in addition to two who already live in the area). Bob Barr, our esteemed class newsletter editor, works at Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Vt., in the development office. Tricia and Bob reside in Hanover. Bob Haynes, our minireunion chairman, was tje forst '73 I saw on Main Street that weekend. Bob has a commercial real estate firm in Hanover. Brenda, Bob, and family live in Norwich, Vt. Wayne Davis, our class bequests and trusts chair, traveled to Hanover from Boston where he, wife Ann and family reside. Wayne works at Paine Webber Inc. in Boston. Jim Ryan, webmaster of the Dartmouth Club of New York City, represented his constituents at club officers' meetings during Leadership Weekend. Geraldine, Jim and family live in Howards Beach, N.Y. Jim is a computer consultant and works at Pratt Institute in New York City.

During Leadership Weekend, BobConway was selected Class Secretary of the Year. Observers report that, caught by surprise, Bob's acceptance speech lacked Oscar quality (that is, long and rambling), and he forgot to thank his classmates for making it all possible.
