It's been great to receive mail from classmates recently. JeffreyHunter writes: "I reside in Annandale, Va., a suburb of Washington, D.C., with my wife, Mattie, and six-year-old daughter Melissa. For the past five years I have been a principal of Birch & Davis Associates Inc., a healthcare management consulting firm that specializes in the design and implementation of public sector managed care programs. In addition, I operate a small financial management consulting practice.

"Last July I attended the wedding of Deborah Allen and Richard Jones held in Cherry Hill, N.J., along with fellow Dartmouth alumni Morris 'Rocky' Whitaker '74, Ellis Rowe '74, Greg Hannah '74, Ken Hall '74, Larry Conley, Sedrick Tydus '74, Norman Brown '74, Bill Raynor '74, Dave Morgan '76, Leonard Branche, Wes Pugh 73, and Paul Ungar '73. It was great to see everyone and renew old relationships. My e-mail address is . "Rob Manegold writes: "After years of reading the '75 alumni notes in the DAM, I have finally decided to take key board in hand and 'blitz' you. The memorable occasion is not a marriage (I have been married now for 21 years). I haven't moved. (Carol and I moved home to Wisconsin after I completed graduate school in Minnesota in 1978.) Nor a promotion or new job. (I have been running a small metal culvert company that I bought six years ago.) Rather, I am prompted by my return to Hanover last weekend to visit the older of our two sons. David is starting his freshman year, and the flood of memories of my own four years was really something. Fall in Hanover is truly the most spectacular of seasons. And I felt I needed to connect with some of my old friends. Open to e-mail at ."

Michael Hutton writes: "I am the chairperson of the global program at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, which is the only graduate school specializing in this field. Transpersonal psychology integrates a spiritual understanding into psychological study, recognizing the importance of spirituality in most people's lives (we honor all spiritual traditions). My program teaches students around the world, mostly through the Internet these days. I am currently teaching a course in ecopsychology to 12 students who span five countries and four continents! I also have a psychotherapy practice where I work with families and couples, and offer workshops and training. It is a blessing to have work that is stimulating, even on the days when there is too much of it! My wife, Tyler, and I are doing well. Traveling each year to Europe is our big event.

Fred Cann writes pretty regularly from Portland, Ore., where he practices law and spends time with his son Alex. Fred travels the globe and enjoys renovating historical buildings in the Portland area. John Koltes and his wife, Patti, live in the Chicago area with their three children Jessie, Lindsay, and Tyler. I visited them last February, after John and Patti had returned from a trip to Bora Bora and Tahiti. Rick Niess and Laura are managing their kids and an active life in Madison, Wise., where Rick practices law. Tris Coffin is in Atlanta, teaching math, and he writes faithfully each Christmas. Maybe this is all a reminder—if you are thinking about getting in touch with an old college friend—do it now. Don't wait."
