Not a lot of news is flowing in during the summer doldrums. Be prepared for some investigatory phone calls this fall.
I am happy to pass on news that Jeff Locke has been named president and chief executive officer of Terion Inc., an interesting businessto-business wireless application service provider. The company operates in the United States and is about to expand into Canada and Mexico.
Obviously Jeff's experience as senior vice president of marketing for Rogers Communications in Toronto will be helpful. Sounds like Jeff's been in wireless even before wireless was cool (to steal an old cable TV phrase), having worked at Sprint PCS, Ameritech Cellular and NEC.
Jeff served as a lieutenant in the Marines and is a Vietnam veteran. He also graduated from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business after Dartmouth.
Terion is headquartered in Melbourne, Florida. If you decide to call Jeff to congratulate him, use your cell phone. Send news!
