Consider this your first and only warning. Tim Ehrsam and Chip Debelius are your new class secretaries, having replaced the widely popular Jeff Boylan and Jim Wasz. Chip and I will continue the legacy of our predecessors in never missing an Alumni Magnzine Class Notes. Therefore, our warning is simple. Give us material or we'll make things up about you. Your choice. We know you'll take the prudent path.

The new class officers are listed on the class Web page at happy.dartmouth.org/classes/79/. Pretty mediocre cadre, but they volunteered. Not too bright, obviously. Note there is also a yearbook at the Web page where you can post lies about yourself. Cool!

More perspectives on the 20th (and then some) reunion. Adam Samuels and associates ran the live Webcam during the reunion (yes, we have it on film). See-all-tell-all Adams thoughts on the reunion pretty much echo those of other attendees: "What was great about the reunion was the fact that in one weekend you could: (1) have one of those conversations you haven't had in years with a friend you haven't spoken to since college that left you feeling glad you stayed up 'til very late in the morning to have it; (2) have the same kind of conversation with someone you didn't know very well at all before you got back; (3) really wish you had looked at Hanover real estate at the fifth or 10th reunion; and (4) be astonished by how much kids DO resemble their parents." Debbie Sortor Parnon added, "Dave Wilson made me go and it's the best thing I've ever done!" The few casualties included Dave Thomsson (torn Achilles—please heal quickly so you can help Patricia with your newborn!) and Phil "No Hands" Odence (sprained finger) during the soccer game. Also, Simon Margolis locked his keys in his trunk. He was last seen hitching a ride back to Canada.

This year's giving campaign final numbers are absolutely SPECTACULAR! Our class raised $1,436,017, setting 20th reunion records for unrestricted revenue ($1,360,817) and participation (56.3 percent). Thanks to the reunion giving committee and those who gave their time, talent and treasure.

From the West Coast, Sharon Geaghan is on the faculty of Stanford Medical School and chief of pathology at Stanford Children's Hospital. She and husband Dave Beiner recently welcomed the arrival of their fourth child, all girls! Although this kept the good doctor from attending the reunion, she was able to complete her first book Pediatric Hematology, while on maternity leave. Sure to be on Oprah's list. And from the way east, Mike Kelley (rhymes with "belly") just moved to Manila after 14 years in Taipei (almost three years in Hong Kong before that). He's doing various consulting projects (mostly recruitment), writing and working into a business development job with an Internetrelated firm. He's also doing some regional biz development for a software firm (call center systems), playing Softball and traveling around Asia regularly. Nearer east, according to a company press release, internationally recognized visionary Thornton May is joining top digital security services firm Guardent Inc. as corporate futurist and chief awareness officer. Amazingly, that's the same career goal he put on his Dartmouth application.

Finally, for those who rely on crashing at Phil Odence's place while in Hanover, you'll need to look elsewhere (AD basement or Jim Wright's house?). Phil and family moved to Lincoln, Massachusetts. Now working for Hammer Technologies building something that tests the connection between your phone and mine. I think it's called a dial tone. Lots of upside, he claims.

That's it for now. Don't forget our warning.
