John Johannessen has been vacationing in Stuart, just below me on the east coast of Florida, but has returned to snow country. See Hank Doremus regularly at the Vero Beach Rotary Club. He and Helen have moved into the Indian River Estates, a nice retirement home in Vero.

Awaiting word from president Charlie Collis on the date for our fall mini-reunion. Maybe our last. Our 65th comes up in 2002. Ralph Crandall, the executive director of the New England Historic Genealogical Society, will be visiting Vero this winter. He spoke at our last mini-reunion, and has a daughter in the freshman class.
